The Gambia Ferry Services operates five crossing points throughout the country to always provide safer and more reliable services for its customers.

As a result of the increased costs over the years and the need to ensure efficient service delivery, the general public is hereby urged to be paying for ferry crossing charges. The ferries bear high operating costs, spare parts, maintenance, fuel, and office overheads.

The payment of ferry crossings will enhance revenue generation to cover the cost of operations and possibly contribute towards the fleet replacement.

“Therefore all are required to pay cash up front, or produce prepaid coupons or post- paid approval”

All are urged to comply with this requirement, and Management wishes to reiterate its commitment to continue to provide safer and more reliable service to all of its esteemed customers.
